In Korea: Snow sledding at Ttukseom Hangang Park

To enjoy winter more with budget and time limits, snow sledding at Tukseom Hangang Park is the answer.

My snow sledding buddy. He really enjoyed the ride as I did. Good thing there are only few visitors when we went there and so we go sled whenever we can until we are so tired to go up again.

Barbie in boots :)

In Korea: Childrens Grand Park

Childrens Grand Park is an amusement park with a free entrance.
Directions: Childrens Grand Park Station

In Korea: BAU House

Bau House is a Dog Lovers cafe. They have small and large breeds of dogs. All of them are so cute and friendly. Actually they go to you and sit at your lap. There are house rules in here because dogs can have different moods too. They can attack you if triggered badly. Anyway, when you go here you have to order beverage for you. It usually cost around KRW 7000. If you are generous to the dogs you can buy and give them treats.
Directions: Hongdae Station

Small dog area while they were fed.

In Korea: Hello Kitty Cafe

I'm not a fan of Hello Kitty but going to a themed cafe or restaurant for me is a bucketlist. Hello Kitty Cafe is located in Sinchon Area. After I went to Ehwa Womans University and shopping around the area, I wanted to have a cup of hot coffee because the snow was hard. I was actually looking for Hello Kitty Cafe but when I got lost, can't find my way there and gave up, tadah! I found the Cafe.

All meow!

I ordered for a coffee and a piece of cake. It was hard to drink and eat this cute stuffs.

The cafe is so cute. All Pink with all the Hello Kitty stuff toys and things. They also sell Hello Kitty goods too.

At the second floor. As you can see its just me on the floor. I think this branch is much less busier than the one in Hongdae.

In Korea: Ewha Womans University

Ewha Womans University (Korean: 이화여자대학교, Hanja: 梨花女子大學校) is a private women's university in central SeoulSouth Korea founded in 1886 by the American Methodist Episcopal missionary Mary F. Scranton. It is currently the world's largest female educational institute and is one of the most prestigious universities in South Korea. (Wikipedia)

Direction: Ewha Womans University Station (Line 2) exit 2 or 3 walk straight ahead

It started to snow!!!

Mount Pico de Loro

My third climb to Mount Pico de Loro. It has a new trail which starts at the DENR station. The new trail is so much easier than the old trail as it took us about 30 minutes to go up to the campsite.

From coastal mall, there are buses that goes to Ternate Cavite (P82) then ride the tricycle going to the DENR station (P75/pax. We are 3 in the tricycle). Register at DENR (P25) then go up!

Same climbing shoes :)

View from the campsite. A lot of climbers... a lot of stores...

Nice view

Aside from the hard blow of air above this is another obstacle to face going up the parrots beak. If you have a very strong upper body this is easy for you.

At last, on top of the beak!

We finished before lunchtime. Very nice to have a carenderia at the Station. We spent less than 400 pesos for this trip.

Lioness Head and Rhino's Back Rock Formation

Lioness Back and Rhino rock formations are located in Norzagaray Bulacan. It is a very easy climb. However, safety first as usual because one wrong move can lead to a dangerous scenario. No need for guide. The path going up and down is very smooth.

Directions: From Ayala gas station where the group meet and waited for more than an hour because someone is lost in MAKATI (in a taxi!). She arrived with a very wet hair. convinced??? From EDSA ride a bus going to  Sapang Palay. From there ride a jeepney going to Bigte. Then walk all the way to the jumpoff which is an easy 10-15 minutes walk. Start your way up to the rock formation

A view of the Rhino's Back. I'm almost there.

And this is the Lioness head....

We finish the trip in half day. Most of our time was spent taking selfies and groupies. Spending less than 500 pesos this is one budget trip near Manila.
