Zero Degrees.... Zero Expectation...

We heard about this bar in Antipolo which has a unique concept. The Zero Degrees Manila Ice Bar, the first Ice Bar in the Philippines. When we saw this promo, we grabbed this opportunity to experience a different kind of bar. For only P199 eat all you can, round of iced tea and Entrance to the Ice Bar. Exciting isn't it?

We have 6 vouchers but unfortunately one of my travel buddies did not make it. Meet up at 6pm Dunkin Donuts Mega Mall. I was a few minutes late and I have this terrible migraine. While waiting for them, I ordered a cup of coffee and my favorite, Boston Creme. Jen, Wilma and Elmer finally showed up but we have to wait for Kris. We went inside the department store and then have dinner at Chicken Bacolod Inasal.  Past 9pm when Kris finally arrive.

Going to the Ice Bar, we took the van bound to Antipolo (P50). We were amazed it took us less then an hour to reach Antipolo. Then tricycle (P25/each) ride which I found it a dangerous ride. The road is curvy and some parts are dark.

And here we arrived! It is not that hard to find it. If you are coming from Antipolo it is in the left side of the road.

This is the entrance

Here we are :) I think the one wearing the black poloshirt is the owner or the manager.

At the third floor is where you will have your eat all you can buffet. We were just a group of 2. I dont know if its maybe because we came in late (around 10pm). The food has different varieties. Pork... Chicken... Noodles... Seafoods...

We choose a table with a great view then headed to the buffet table. Apparently the person in the buffet table is serving the dish. In my mind, I thought this is an eat all you can meaning you can get as many food as long as you can eat.

I just open the shellfish and did not eat at all. It does not look so fresh and the crab is so small and filled with air.

I actually tried all the foods except for the desert. A little portion of each. I can't finish it anymore. Food is cold and not that delicious. Good thing we already had our dinner in Megamall.

Do we look like satisfied? Yes for the sake of pictures :)

This is the only thing I enjoyed in here. Beautiful view of Manila at night.

Post-buffet, we went back to the first floor but the receptionist and guard was not there. While we are waiting for them we saw this cute masks and head dress.

Then we went to the Ice Bar which is located at the basement. We were given a brief reminders. This is not written in the deal (i think!). We can only stay 30 minutes inside the Bar and we can only take 2 pictures each inside the Bar. We went inside and its disappointing. Its a small room with 4 ice carvings.

Its not really that cold inside that we really don't need to wear the thick jacket and mitten.

This is the bar. The ICE BAR :)

The crew said that they will open the fan so that we can feel the cold. And so we all agreed to wear the  jacket for picture-sake. Anyway, I think its clean because they have space for use and unused jackets.

Anyways, after ICE BAR experience, we decided to go somewhere to chill.

Disclaimer: My blog has no intention to ruin ICE BAR. This is my experience and honest opinion as a guest.
