Directions: MTR station to Chiang Kai Shek Station
First structure you'll see after you exit the station is the National Theater. We didn't get too close to it. We went around it and saw the center of the place. In here where I got the first sight of the CKS building (jaw dropped).
I also noticed a local performers do their practice in here. We saw a stage with on going performance.
CKS building is big. Our tired legs are struggling when we went up the stairs.
Inside the memorial hall is CKS statue. You will see Two guards in their assigned post. Another thing everyone noticed is the beautiful roof.
We were supposed to go Martyr Shrine to see the change of guards. Fortunately, we've seen from an announcement posted on the walls that the change of guard will be in 5 minutes. Just enough time for us to have a bladder break.
The movement is slow moving. I was taking video's of it and I got tired raising my hands up. Some viewers didn't finish the whole show so I was able to stand with a good view.
There is also museums and library in the building. Too bad we don't have enough time to see those.
